Patterns of care study
A patterns of care study documents the most common pathways of treatment and care experienced by people diagnosed with a particular disease or condition.
The Centre is managing a project to identify current approaches to the care and treatment of women with gynaecological cancers. The aim is to establish a baseline understanding of patterns of care for women with gynaecological cancers.
With this baseline information, it will be possible to target the implementation of clinical practice guidelines and other strategies for improving services and outcomes.
This project is expected to be completed in 2008.
