Overview
Women affected by gynaecological cancers need access to the best evidence-based treatment and quality support, irrespective of where they live. Many women have limited access to appropriate services, particularly those living in rural and remote areas and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The Centre is working to support cancer professionals and improve the accessibility of cancer services. The aim is to support health professionals and ensure the best possible care is available to all Australians affected by gynaecological cancers now and in the future.
We are focusing on practical tools, system changes, and professional development and support that will directly contribute to better care and support of women with gynaecological cancers, and their families and caregivers.
