Lung cancer clinical guidelines

Cancer Australia is currently working in partnership with Cancer Council Australia to develop an innovative approach to clinical practice guideline implementation.

Specifically, this project will translate the 2004 Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prevention, Diagnosis and Management of Lung Cancer into a wiki-based format, beginning with an updated evidence-based treatment section.

It is expected that this new format will provide the infrastructure for ongoing updates from expert standing committees as new published evidence becomes available, and increase the availability and accessibility of evidence-based lung cancer information for health professionals.
