Gynaecological cancers and health professionals
The National Centre for Gynaecological Cancers has undertaken a range of projects intended to assist health professionals in their treatment and care of women affected by gynaecological cancers. These activities include:
- development of clinical guidelines;
- creation of a continuing professional development module for GPs, hosted on the gplearning site;
- undertaking a referral practices survey; and
- development of comprehensive resources relating to the psychosexual care of women affected by gynaecological cancers.
Cancer Australia has also funded the development of the following programs on gynaecological cancers, which were broadcast by the Rural Health Education Foundation. Click on the links below for full details.
