Cancer Australia is managing several targeted initiatives to support the cancer care workforce to deliver the best evidence-based care to people affected by cancer, now and into the future. Where possible, these initiatives utilise information communication technologies, to ensure equitable access across the country, and to facilitate processes for ensuring information remains current.

Projects include:

• continuing professional development frameworks and resources;
• materials to support cancer care in general practice; and
• tumour specific work relating to lung and gynaecological cancers.
