Cancer Australia is implementing initiatives to improve the level and quality of support available to people with cancer, their carers and families during and after treatment, through the development of cancer support networks for people with cancer.
Our key activity in this area is administering the Cancer Support Networks grants program.
Cancer Australia is also collating information and resources that will help develop and maintain support networks.
We are collaborating with Cancer Councils in each state and territory to ensure that support options are available and that support offered is coordinated, sustainable and reflects best practice.
