Advisory Council

Established under the Cancer Australia Act 2006, Cancer Australia’s Advisory Council provides advice to the Chief Executive Officer about the performance of Cancer Australia’s functions. The Advisory Council comprises a Chair and up to 12 other members appointed by the Minister for Health.

Cancer Australia draws on the wide spectrum of expertise, skills and experience which Advisory Council members bring to our organisation, including oncology, general practice, cancer research, academic and personal experience of cancer.
