Improving clinical data and reporting for lung cancer

The consistent collection and reporting of lung cancer clinical data is an important component of improving lung cancer outcomes. The National Lung Cancer Program is supporting the development of a data set specification for lung cancer.

Cancer Australia is also working in partnership with Cancer Council Victoria to fund a project to trial the use of data acquisition technology to extract clinical data on clinical stage, metastases at diagnosis and cancer recurrence.
